We have returned to our method of placing sand bottles on the golf carts. If you have your own cart please be sure that you have sand bottles as well. The bottles can be purchased either from Murdoch or Appalachian.
We ask that you first replace your divot and then if the entire divot can not be replaced fill in with sand. The sand should level out with the ground. The sand will not have a seed mixture so sprinkling sand is not effective.
Rather than refilling your bottles you may simply exchange for a full bottle at the cart staging area, or at the comfort stations on the course.
Please view the following clip for an illustration on HOW TO PROPERLY REPLACE A DIVOT.
Please view the video below on HOW TO PROPERLY REPAIR A BALL MARK. We are finding far to many unrepaired ball marks and want to emphasize that an unrepraired mark can take a month to heal. It also creates a spot that is more susceptible to poa annua. Thank you for helping us with this matter.
